Cool Places to Eat without Spending Money(Places covered by the meal plan and/or flex dollars.)1. The top of the A&A building [flex dollars] Yes, along with the great view is a cute little café serving fresh baked cookies, made-to-order sandwiches, and assorted drinks. 2. Kline Biology Tower [transfer $6.65] Yup, again the view and a place to eat, featuring quality wraps and sandwiches for lunch. 3. Medical School [transfer $6.65] A good place to go before or after cultural shows or movies, featuring a grill menu and salad bar. 4. School of Management [transfer $6.65] Up Prospect Street, this is a spacious cafeteria open for lunch with wraps, a salad bar, fresh caesar salad, and a grill. 5. Law School [transfer $6.65] The closest of the options listed so far, the Law School has McDonald's-style chicken sandwiches and hamburgers, along with a frozen yogurt machine and a spacious dining hall. 6. Durfee's Sweet Shoppe [flex dollars and bursar billing] Candy, ice cream, chips for free!at least that's the way it seems when you can bursar bill it all. Made-to-order sandwiches and packaged sushi are also here. 7. Non-Yale places: Naples, Yorkside, and Au Bon Pain [flex dollars] Three independent establishments that have all signed a contract with Yale allowing you to "flex" there. Yorkside is a good place to get ice cream until 3 a.m., and Au Bon Pain is good for pastries. Naples? It's all about the atmosphere. 8. New Residential College Dining Halls: Berkeley, Branford, and Saybrook [your good old meal plan] When you're too lazy or cheap to go anywhere else, hit up these fancy new renovated dining halls. They have a slightly bigger selection and cleaner floors.
