Timothy Dwight IMs

I hope that everyone had a pleasant and relaxing break and that you have rejuvenated your thirst to compete, to have fun, and to win. The winter season is our season to shine. We have the horses (especially with the return of football captain Tony Mazurkiewicz '96); now all we need to do is to maintain our energy levels throughout the long winter months. We are only a few big nights away from catching JE, and, once we are even, we will not look back again.

As Confucius once said, "The gentleman is ashamed of his word outstripping his deed." Talk is futile and only actions will bring home the points. If we are not going to walk the walk, then we will have to stop trying to talk the talk. The lifeblood of TD IMs needs support during the winter. We need swimmers, squash players, bowlers, and anyone else who can handle the experience of playing beside such maniacs as Sung Ahn '96 and Kelvin Yu '97 or next to such heartthrobs as Erinn Hoag '97, Jamaal Lesane '98, and Meg Quinn '97. The old adage, "United we stand, divided we fall," once again rings true. Friends win together, acquaintances merely play. Time to open that can of wompass...Ashé!
