Davenport Intramurals

The women's squash captain Liz Smith '97 reports to us that the team has improved greatly from last year. Their record is 3-5, and with merely three games left in the season, we are hoping for a winning record. The dedicated women include Liz, Sandy Enuha '99, Suzanne Jovin '99, Jenn Harris '99, and Nonie Gadsden '97. Nonie is the team's good luck charm, and victory is inevitable with her attendance. Clutch support has also come from Rose Choy '99 and Nora Flynn '99. The men's squash team consists of Sunny Chu '97--our sole representative.

The women's basketball team continues to fight their opposing Amazons; they are predicting a win in the near future. Capaining the team is Amy Shapiro '99. However, the team's phoenix is Josephine Taverna '99, who scored over 80% of the team's points last game! She landed two three pointers as well. Go Jo! Our women will undoubtedly prevail in following games.

Coed waterpolo is having a blast in the water. The enthusiastic (and somewhat zealous) approach of captains Ethel Bullitt '97 and Lincoln Else '99 forces Davenporters to make the late night trek to the gym to represent our college. Strong arms include Stephanie Sandoz '97 and Alex Zemek '99. Thanks to all who play.
