Berkeley Intramurals

BK is ecstatic about its IM point-scoring success this year. But we are able to see past points, and realize that the year has been successful in many other ways, too.

This week the men's softball players used their secret strategy of "tossing back a few" in PWG and the team ended up being ejected by security for the evening. BK's own Natt Fogg '97 and Mario Trimble '97 carried the BK "strategy" over a barbed wire fence to the thirsty players. This was just in time to bring the undermanned and low blood-alcohol-content sluggers the influx of joy needed to power past BR. Unfortunately, "strategy" was lacking in the parched loss to CC the following day. Expect it to return for future games.

BK can also be proud of its high levels of participation at the various IM competitions: season victories are almost guaranteed in co-ed softball, ultimate, volleyball, and field hockey. Master and Mrs. Stout even made it out to watch the rain-soaked softballers on Saturday!

Another measure of BK success is its love for its IM secretaries. A big tribute goes out to the racquet-sport guru Andrew Gurman '98 and the utility stud Jenny Nelson '98. Let's get out there and win it all for them...
