Ezra Stiles Intramurals

Spring is in the air. The temperature is rising. And what's that smell? Could it be? Is it? Yep, that's the unmistakable smell of a Moose in heat.

The Stiles Moose is hot. With wins last week in everything from ultimate to men's softball, Stiles has finally recovered to rally through the rest of the season. And, in some unfinished business from the winter, Chris Petrie "Dish" '98 led A-hoops to the first Stiles shirts of the year in an exciting one-game playoff win over TD.

But those won't be the last shirts for Stiles. The men's softball team is in the final four, and co-ed is now on a roll, too. Volleyball is looking for shirts, and baseball is undefeated. Not to mention soccer, with new goalie Si Chin "Chilla" '99, field hockey, and billiards, all of which are rolling right along. And the golfers strutted confidently off the links today, sure that a trip to the finals was all but in the bag.

Yes, spring is the Moose's favorite season, and Stiles is showing why. The Moose is officially in good hands for the future, with Alex "Bobbin" Robbins '98 and Santi "Will win any" Duewel '00 joining returning secretaries Si Chin and Melissa "Long g-" Huang '98 as the leaders next year. But then is then, and now is now, and, for now, the Moose is on the loose.
