Trumbull

Trumbull was doing an awesome job of staying in the middle of the pack this year, and we hope to get back to that and improve on it. Right now, we're really riding on men's soccer, and we're hoping that this excitement transfers over to the other sports as well. It'd be nice if people contemplated playng tennis. 10SNE1? If you aren't familiar with the excitement about which I'm speaking, come out to a soccer game next week and cheer on your soccer team. If you come out, you're sure to see a stellar performance by Zach "he's a lego maniac" Roth '98 and his mighty team. Todd "I only play to impress Mia Hamm" Sacerdoti '99 is finally letting other people share his glory. Recent games have seen goals by Nick Camer"der the competition"lenghi '98 and Pete "I don't have time for IMs" Bendix '00. We still love him though. We also just beat Calhoun this week, which just may mean an undefeated season this year for the Bulls.

Women's soccer is finally starting to get off its feet, something extremely rare for Trumbull. In the past years, Trumbull has relied on the women of Saybrook to bring the team, but recent games have seen as many as six or seven women from Trumbull. I know that there are more of you out there, so come get involved in Trumbull's newest up-and-coming team. You have to come out to the fields to feel this team's excitement. We may not score a lot of goals (or any goals for that matter) but we sure have a lot of fun trying. We're getting Trumbullians from all over the college, who are bringing various skills out to the fields. For example, Crystal "this isn't my ballet class?" McKellar '99 has been seen arabesquing across the field. In a game last week, we saw the essence of Trumbull spirit when Jennifer "Brenda" Walsh '99 put herself back on the field after pulling a leg muscle because we needed her in the game. Moo-rah, Jennifer!

This past week, the coed football team played the undefeated men and women of Calhoun, and we almost won! Thanks to newcomers Catherine "Not a" Kidd "Anymore" '00, Walsh, and Nora "The Exterminator" Cheung '01 for letting Calhoun win. Lee Kovar"kian"sky '99, you are our inspiration!
