Branford

Whattup Yale? How was your break? Who cares? Just know that Branford is going to "break" you in half this IM season.

Swinger hockey is off to a good start. Recruiting "Canada" Pete Walker '03 from the frozen tundra gave the squad a significant advantage over the other fools on the ice. And don't overlook Rebecca "I'll body check ya" Goodman '00, whose nasty play is notorious in IM circles.

Oh, and don't worry—Branford men's volleyball is equally dangerous. With the killer spikes of Don "Juan" Davis '03 and perfect sets from "Idi" Amin Benaissa '03, the Branford freshmen have taken the team off of life support and made the Swingers a dangerous opponent. Branford women's volleyball squad is also slamming it down this season, thanks to the Amazonian play of Caron "The Animal" Kim '00, who scares opponents off the court with her tremendous size and hops.

On the basketball front, A-hoops is struggling, despite the recent addition of Adam "Can I be" Franke"?" '02. But B-hoops keeps rolling along behind the play of Adam "I'm only happy when it" Rein '03 and Tony "The Tiger" Mendoza '03. And C-hoops has kept up its feisty play, though we're not sure if anyone has made a shot yet. As for women's hoops, many an opponent has been sent to Yale-New Haven Hospital with a bad case of broken ankles.

As for Branford squash, we're not sure who plays or how they are doing, but we're pretty sure they'll "squash" the opposition.
