To all Yale College students: Starting at 8.30 a.m. on Monday morning, and taking place each Monday for the duration of the spring term, the following classes will meet at Payne Whitney Gymnasium:

Losing Women's Hoops 119b (SY): Students will be instructed in various methods of losing to the undefeated Stiles women's hoops team. Expert Saybrook College, whose team includes several former varsity players, will attempt to explain the vast superiority of the Stiles team. Readings from Nicole Davis '01, Devon Linex '01, Maegan Plagge '00, Emily Putnam '00, Micole Tuchman '01, Marissa Kellogg '03, Andrea Wenner '00, and Abby Deering '01.

Stealing Waterpolo Victories 320b (CC): Calhoun College will explain how to win a game despite scoring the same number of goals as its opponent. Guest lectures from the referees who helped Calhoun achieve victory. There will be no overtime section, although members of the class are invited to "discuss" the game with Phil Mann '01 in the parking lot.

Intramural Cheerleading 491b (Ezra Smiles): A study of the effects of cheering on performance in IMs. Students will examine Andy Beck '02 and Adam Santo's '02 use of clapping to encourage the women's volleyball and basketball teams to first place.
