Silliman

If it doesn't seem obvious yet, Silliman will be the Tyng Champs this year. Why have I made such a prediction? Well, cuz it's true, dammit. Okay, so we're fifth on the ladder but year after year, the Lizards come out during the winter months and spank the little behinds of their opponents.

How, you ask? Well it's obvious. Unlike our warm-blooded opponents, who tremble in the freeze and worry about shrinkage, Da Lizards will bite, scrape, grab, fight to the finish to take home the big W. Hell, there isn't a trace of warmth running through our veins (or our dining hall).

Take, for instance, women's hoops. Led by Jen "I" Garstka "get the rock" '01, Miye"ow" Moriguchi '03, and "Suddenly" Suzanne Anthony '03, they are 5-2 and are spanking the hell out of opponents—that is, when they have more than four people.

The captains of men's volleyball, seniors Ernest "Just like Zach" Morris and Shane Dizon are so confident they promise to be 9-2 by the end of the season due to outstanding performances by Loren Wen- "He hits, you best be on" gerd '01, Colin "Wears Nike" Ayres '03, Augustine "Whose last name is" Kim '02, and Chris"tmas" Lee '00. Squash also got a win this week and looks ready to dominate.

Last, but definitely not least, is water polo. At 3-2, they are led by Tom Whitney '02 "Avenue", Katie "Plundered" Pin-der '02, and Emma Ashburn "ed me on that last breakaway" '03.

So be aware Yale, these players, and many others, are gonna come fast and furious at ya and they ain't taking a L with `em.
