Morse

Why do the other teams bother coming out to IM events when they are playing Morse? It's certainly not because they think they can earn some points against us in swimming. With Andrew Whealy '02, Chris Kelly '00, Lisa Howie '00, and Joanna Dolgin '03, Morse has no choice but to put other colleges in their proper places.

With Eranthie Weerapana '00, Sara Perkins '01, and Amy Chang '00, women's squash does not like to lose. The men's team has also played quite well. In basketball, the women's team has completely turned around from last year, when they finished well below .500, and their success thus far guarantees a winning season this year. Meanwhile, both B- and C-hoops control their own destinies in their bids for the shirts.

Led by Liz Sader, Mike Hoevel '01, and Nick Fleisher '01, Morse bowling has compiled a 6-3 record thus far. On the ice, the frosh trio of David Gimbel, Eric Ramsay, and George Malcolmson has definitely been keeping opponents on edge.

And just about every water polo team is scared to get in the water against us—or at least they should be. Tom Bayliss '00 sure likes those water sports. He is almost as good at water polo as he is at sailing. Whoa.

In fact, every Morse winter sport shall finish with a winning record. Can any other college boast that? I suppose that's why Morse is slowly but surely taking the Tyng in 2000. And why no opponent should even bother showing up to try to challenge us.
