Chepiga

So I took it on the chin last week, but not as bad as Moran. She must be snorting more coke than Darryl Strawberry before she decides on her bets, and her men. As for Randell and her steamy, lustful, tempestuous love affair with Brooks Eubank, I don't even want to know. But hey, at least he's hotter than Blair Golson or Gavin Pratt, and willing to go mouth to the south, if ya know what I mean. Men's b-ball wins a deuce ($750 each) as do the women ($600). Hockey pulls a McSorley on Harvard and Brown, ($500), and the Johnies topple the Blue Devils, ($450), who, it turns out, have about as much coordination as Silk with a condom on a Saturday night. Last Week: -$3,450. Current Balance: $8,797.

Moran

Yeah, so I spent last weekend alone. Men's and women's basketball deserted me. The Devils deserted me. Even my typically ready-and-willing boy toy from the IMs page deserted me for some easy action with a certain wanna-be "Scene" editor over in A&E. Well, keep it up Diskant, and the only "scene" you'll be seeing is Gavin over at the YDN sports desk. I'll finally be in good company this weekend, as I get it from men's and women's hoops ($2,000 each) and the Knicks, who sink Phoenix and Philly ($300 each). Hockey also gets it done back in New Haven with double Ivy wins ($300). Last Week: -$4,400. Current Balance: $5,570.

Randell

Look whose balances went down last week. Mine sure didn't. Blue didn't let me down and the Knicks finally started playing decently. At least, better than Chepiga in A-hoops, which I guess isn't saying much. The action in college b-ball this week will be fast and furious, rather like a certain blond sports editor on the weekend. UConn rebounds against Rutgers ($1,300), and Ohio State handily deals Illinois a defeat ($600). Yale b-ball wins both this weekend ($600 each), while hockey sends the Crimson home black and blue ($700). Last Week: +$0. Current Balance: $7,500.

John Yi, Guest

Finally—the Yi has returned to the Herald!!! So step aside ladies— especially you, Chepiga—'cause Smack is a man's game. And I'm not coming with any weak-ass bets; I keep my shiznit tight. $1,000 says my boys from Queens upset Duke. Meanwhile, men's b-ball and hockey both win twice this weekend ($500 each), and Chris Dudley's triple-double ($10) leads the Knicks to victory over Philly ($1,000). And just for some international flavor, Manchester United sends Wimbledon crying to their mums ($1,500). Remember, don't hate the playa, hate the game. Ya heard me. Last Week: -$3,498. Current Balance: $5,188. John Yi, SM '02, won Pick the Pros this week. To be Smack Guest, play Pick the Pros at www.yaleherald.com/pickthepros.
