Davenport

As my man Limp says, "So what's it all about?" Well Fred, let me tell ya. In D-port, it's not about how many "points" you have, where you fall in the "standings," and how much you can "win." Rather than get all worked up, we're all confident, chill people who just wanna have fun and don't take IMs too seriously to compensate for our small endowments and frail egos (um...Morse?).

On that note, let's do a winter season in review. Looking back, I think things went well. Our Davies points (which we all know are the most important) were the highest they have ever been, due to our outstanding freshmen who have brought us close to our most heralded days when G.W. threw vodka bottles out of the third floor. Sorry, back to the review.

You know what, forget a big ol' summary of the season. How 'bout a quickie? Hoops was pretty decent. A and B were young, so look for them to come out strong next year. C and women's will lose some to graduation, but everything's gonna be all right. The V-ball teams were pretty good as well. Men's should have won more than they did, but at least they had fun. Women's played tough for a while, but then fell victim to lack-of-people-itis. Squash went well with the men putting up seven Ws. Water polo, being that it's a lotta fun, was marked with a great turnout and a good record. Bowling and swimming probably could have done better, but we ain't too concerned. And lastly, ice hockey—while they had hoped to take the gold, competition was real tough this year, so they came close, but it looks like Pierson will smoke the cigar.

Well, that's all from me. Party/rest hard over break, and thanks for coming out. Peace.

(Dubbed out by yours truly, the man known as Method himself.)
