Saybrook

The first ever undefeated spring season is well underway here in Saybrook College. At the moment, we're 2-0. The rest of the season will certainly be history. Since our undefeatedness ain't that exciting just yet, we prefer to impart a few words of wisdom:

"Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and oxygen, there would be no way to make water, a vital ingredient in beer." —Dave Barry

"I would kill everyone in this room for a drop of sweet beer." —Homer Simpson

"Dough, the stuff that buys me beer. Ray, the guy that sells me beer. Me, the guy who drinks the beer. Far, the distance to my beer. So, I think I'll have a beer. La, La la la la la la beer. Tea, no thanks, I'm drinking beer. That will bring us back to... (Looks into an empty glass) D'oh!" —Homer Simpson

"Give me a woman who loves beer and I will conquer the world." —Kaiser Wilhelm

"If you ever reach total enlightenment while drinking beer, I bet it makes beer shoot out your nose."—Jack Handey, "Deep Thoughts"

"You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer." —Frank Zappa

"When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading." —Henny Youngman

"If God had intended us to drink beer, He would have given us stomachs."

—David Daye

"Beauty is in the eye of the beer-holder."

—Baroness Francesca Mth

"Reality is an illusion that occurs due to lack of alcohol." —Anonymous

(Compiled by three secretaries who hope that Saybrook's new chant will be, "Say what? Say beer!")
