Smack Zone

Chepiga

Silky Smoothie is right—Smack has been too dirty lately. And while that's mostly mini-Joey's fault, I too take some of the blame. So in the spirit of Spring cleaning, I refuse to make more jokes about little Katie going home with hairy bouncers or Laurie's obsession for tweed-wearing fascists. Far be it from me to point out that MTs has a much dirtier mouth, or that Tig has a much dirtier nose. I'm too good for hatas, just like my Yankees, who will start the season 3-0. ($500) The NCAA won't be worth watching, but Donovan leads his Florida Gators over Michigan State in the final ($600). Funny though, Laurie and Kate are on top—I wonder how they found their way there...Last Week: +$850. Current Balance: $6,197.

Moran

Read 'em and weep, ladies, cause I'm $10,000 richer and you all have less cash than Chepiga does after a day spent at the Polo store. I'm filthy, stinking rich, and I'm so happy that I could skip, whistle, or sing a song more sweetly than Redhot's sweetest soprano, Ted Diskant. I'll still be humming next week after the Knicks take two of their next three ($1,000). I'll also say that Yanks sweep their opening series against Anaheim ($400), and that Eli baseball captures both in a double-header with Columbia ($600). Last Week: +$10,000. Current Balance: $10,570.

Randell

Of all the stupid bets, Moron...You might want to try showing some balls in your bets for once. And Chepiga, try admitting you have a problem and stop foisting off your Brooksie fantasies on me. It isn't my fault that you're getting less play than John Rocker. Speaking of baseball, the Mets will take their home opener against the Padres ($800), while I miss all my classes to watch. The Braves and the Cubs open with wins ($700 each), even though Sosa doesn't homer ($500). Michigan State represents the Big Ten in the NCAA finals ($800), and brings home the title ($600). Last Week: -$500. Current Balance: $10,050.

Sara Edward-Corbett, Guest

Chepiga's too busy trying to get in touch with Laurie's feminine side to notice his blatant lack of intuition. Kate may not know the difference between a bet and a blowjob, but at least it's getting her somewhere. I don't give a rat's ass about statistics, but as I proved in my sweep in Pick the Pros last week, I'm luckier in my bets than Chepiga is in his sexual fantasies. Learn from the pro, kids. On opening day, the Mets will beat the Padres ($600), the Yankees win over the Angels ($600), the Cubs beat the Cardinals ($600), Florida beats North Carolina ($600), and Ward Burton wins the DirecTV 500 this weekend (also $600). Last Week: -$1,605. Current Balance: $3,073.
