Saybrook

When we threatened an entirely undefeated season in our previous blurb, folks, we thought we were kidding. Please, every time a Saybrook team takes the field, stop quivering in your boots. So far, Saybrook averages 1.2 losses per week. Here's why:

Miles "What does this look like, a" Haladay "Inn?" '02 went 4-4 with two moon shots as the softball squad dropped a 22-3 bomb on poor, defenseless Berkeley. Laurie "Do I make you" Randell "baby, yeah?!" '02 covered second base while captain Dave "Probation-free" Plattner '01 led the team from short, with consistently upbeat Keira "Nothing rhymes with" Driansky '03 catching.Sadly, the SY baseball squad suffered a demoralizing 5-4 loss to BK.

SY Frisbee, however, just keeps getting nastier and nastier. With two stalwarts in Jessica "Country Music" Huang '02 and Natasha "Never been burned" Bloom '00, and a veritable legion of talented guys, our team can't help but run up the score. Our volleyball team is on the same track: 3-0 with no slowing in sight. We're on top of the division thanks to consistent showings from Megan "Mickey" Mao"se" '01, captain "Steely" Dan Fingerman '00, and Danny "Head Rope Man" Isquith '02.

Surprisingly, the TC-SY field hockey team has been a success thus far. Thanks to TC for fielding more then their share of players, and with the likes of Natalie Howe '01 and Nicole Staffieri '03, Brook-Bull looks to be playoff bound. And after thrashing BR and then falling to a talented BK squad, the 'brook billiards team seems back on track with a win over PC this week. Thanks to Michelle Chin '03, Andy Chan '01, Victor Chung '03, Nick Brown '03, and Mike Wighton '03 for being so dependable.
