Pierson

All right, so after an exciting "season," Pierson's baseball team died. So did the field hockey team. But that hasn't discouraged the PIMPs, especially the female PIMPs. Last week the girl to guy ratio on the soccer field was a whopping 2:1, while at volleyball Matt Janik '00 was the sole representative of the male population of Pierson. The team had females to spare.

So the soccer team played really, really well and put up a real good fight but ultimately lost 3-2, even after Dan the freshman counselor showed up. The volleyball team lost since they had to play down a man, but that's old news. This week Hsien '00 showed up and filled out the roster. The team won in three games against a formidable TD team in ridiculous wind. Softball also played a real good game but then lost a nail biter, 20-0, against Saybrook. Frisbee miraculously had players to spare in their last game, but more people need to show up in the future. Also—billiards lost, but Britt highly recommends playing cause it's really, really fun.
