Around the Ivies

Moola for kids
Ivy League Basketball

Years after leaving the hallowed halls of the Ivies, basketball alumni are gathering to raise money for charity by doing what they loved in their college years—playing hoops. The Ivy League Alumni Basketball Challenge will take place on Sat., June 3 in New York City, pitting teams of alums against one another for the glory of their alma maters. Proceeds will benefit the Alumni Challenge Education Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational support and resources to children in need. In last year's inaugural tournament, Brown defeated Prince-ton for the crown.

The Big Green, who only have 17 wins on the season, have had to rely on the rookie to lead them into the Ivy season. Quattrocchi has a 0.95 ERA with 87 strikeouts, and is holding opponents to a .182 batting average.
