Morse

Rising from the ashes of past IM failures, Morse has been reborn as a Tyng powerhouse. With six of our teams still unbeaten since break, TD and Stiles are slowly fading into the distance, and our sights are now set firmly on the top three.

This success has been fueled by Yale's most dedicated freshman class. Practicing in PWG months in advance, frosh Colin "Flash in the" Pan, Trygve Bakken, Mike "IM God" Hoevel, Shivan "Racket King" Mehta, and Deborah "Squash Goddess" Bauer, have dominated squash, dropping just one match in their first six contests.

Seeking to regain the coveted ice hockey championship, we are once again poised for a title run. The stellar play of Shai "No Mercy" Nimjee '98, Stu "Jo" Lubarsky '98, Kevin "Lowe" Scott '99, Alex "Kovalev" Kallman '01, and Andy "Golden" Graham '00 has led to an offensive average of almost ten goals per game. Sandy Chris "Osgood" topher '99 averages fewer than two goals-against per game, supported by the staunch defense of captain Rob "Brind'Amour" Keith '98 and Ian "The Prez" MacAllister '00.

B-hoops has joined hockey in the ranks of the Morse undefeated. After a tough opener, salvaged by Jan Lo's '98 half-court buzzer-beater in overtime, B-hoops has earned a 5-0 record, dethroning last year's champs along the way. No one expected us to be here, and that makes the taste of victory all the more sweet. This is our year!
