An ECAC showdown

The Dartmouth squad faced top-ranked University of New Hampshire (UNH) on Sun., Feb. 8 as the Big Green sought to break their second-place tie with the Wildcats in the ECAC. Dartmouth (15-6, 12-3-1 ECAC) took a 2-1 lead after the first period. The second period was all UNH, however, as the Wildcats scored two quick goals to take a 3-2 lead, and carried the momentum to an eventual 5-3 victory. UNH is now in a first-place tie with Northeastern in the ECAC, while the Big Green fell to third, two points behind the co-leaders. The Big Green is in first place in the Ivy League, and has won three league titles so far this decade.
