Walter Camp Foundation: Football's best converge on New Haven

College football's brightest stars have arrived in New Haven for the annual Walter Camp Football Foundation Weekend, which commenced Thurs., Feb. 12, with Stay-in-School assemblies, where members of the current Walter Camp All-America Team and other football personalities spoke to New Haven middle-schoolers. Among the Walter Camp All-Americans are Michigan cornerback and Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson and Tennessee quarterback Peyton Manning '98. The main event of the weekend will be the 31st annual black-tie dinner in Commons honoring the All-Americans, as well as Man of the Year Calvin Hill, PC '69. Hill addressed the Yale community on Fri., Feb. 13 in the Kiphuth Varsity Room at the Ray Tompkins House.
