No more doubts

Eighth-ranked Princeton destroyed Pennsylvania 71-52 in an league showdown on Tues., Feb. 17. The Tigers (21-1 overall, 9-0 Ivy) extended their Ivy winning streak to 24 games, and have won 13 consecutive games after an eight-point loss to top-ranked North Carolina on Sat., Dec. 13. The Quakers (14-10 overall, 7-2 Ivy) entered the contest on a seven-game win streak. Played at Princeton, the game had been sold out for weeks, and the Princeton Office of Sports Media Relations had issued over 100 media guides for the event.

Steve Goodrich '98 lead the way with 19 points, and Gabe Lewullis '99 added 16 for the Tigers. Princeton went nine for 16 with three-pointers and shot 58 percent from the field. The Tigers opened the second-half with a strong run to seal the win.
