So close yet so far

In a heartbreaking contest, the Bulldogs (10-12 overall, 5-5 Ivy) squandered a 15-point halftime edge over Pennsylvania and dropped a 76-69 decision to the Quakers on Fri., Feb. 13. After the Quakers came back to tie the score at 61 at the end of regulation, Pennsylvania outscored the Bulldogs 15-8 in the extra period. Yale wasted a strong effort from Emerson Whitley, SY '98, who scored 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. On Sat., Feb. 14, the Bulldogs faced eighth-ranked Princeton and fell 78-48. Princeton jumped out on top 31-13.

The men face Cornell on Fri., Feb. 20 and Columbia on Sat., Feb. 21, for their final two home games of the year.
