Chen--How did these two get ahead? Well, if I bet on the Bulls every week...Anyway, guess what? The Wiz will take down MJ & Co. for $800. Gotta have faith in your home team. Lipinski upsets Kwan ($750), while Team Canada takes gold in men's hockey ($1,200). Here at Yale, I like the Bulldogs over Clarkson ($1,250) and St. Lawrence ($600), while men's hoops beats Cornell and Columbia for $1,500 each. Chalk up a win for women's hoops as well against Columbia ($1,300). Last Week: $0. Current Balance: $9,550.

Lin--Time to get serious--$2,000 on yet another men's hockey back-to-back, $800 on the female fencers to take the H-Y-P crown, and $250 on both Bulldog basketball teams crushing Columbia. In the NBA, I'll wager $1,500 on the Bulls to beat the Washington Wizards. Finally, in the Olympics, $1,000 on Michelle Kwan to have her one moment in time and $500 for one of the Russians to medal. Last Week: +$2,750. Current Balance: $11,510.

Smith--The only $20,000 Chen'll ever see is the paycheck I give him when he works for me. In the Olympics, I'm going with Kwan's taking the women's figure skating ($700) and Canada's whooping some Czech booty ($1000). In the NBA, I'm sticking with the Magic over the Lakers ($600). Shaq will be more interested in the Magic Kingdom than in the Orlando Magic. At Yale, men's swimming will take the Yale Invitational ($500), women's fencing will beat Princeton and Harvard at Princeton ($750), and men's hockey over St. Lawrence ($700). Last Week: +$1,600. Current Balance: $11,050.

Guest, Matt Matros--"Sports" editors. What a joke. I'm joining the parade of guests that have been stomping all over Chen & Co. In men's hockey, Yale rolls over Clarkson and St. Lawrence ($1,000 each). The red-hot Red Storm make UConn feel less than husky ($1,500), while my Knicks thrash Houston ($1,000.50) Baseball's finally here! I'd bet on the greatest team ever (the New York Mets, of course), but they don't play, so I'll settle for Toronto over the Twins in exhibition play ($500). Last Week: +$8,099.50. Current Balance: $14,199.50.
