Chen--Ahh, the madness that is March, a happy time during which flukes like Lin and Smith will be exposed. Come Sunday, I'll be back home to root for my second-favorite team, those Terps of Maryland, in the ACC Championship game ($750), but it's UNC's year: they'll win the conference tournament and pick up a top seed ($1,500 each). The other number ones will be Kansas, 'Zona, and Duke ($2,000). This one's for Burke: no way in hell Clemson's making the Sweet 16 ($1,200), and Utah's a goner in the first round ($500).This year's sleeper? Stanford will make the Elite Eight ($500). Last Week: -$4,200. Current Balance: $4,750.

Lin--Look which editor is back on top! Let's watch men's hockey destroy Union and RPI ($1,500 apiece), baseball beat Quinnipiac ($500), women's lax pummel Pennsylvania and UMass ($750 each), softball continue its winning ways against St. John's, URI, and Providence ($500 each). Next, Ivy pride puts Princeton in the Sweet 16 ($500). Finally, the Tampa Bay Lightning combine with the Blackhawks and Bruins for fewer than five goals in their two matchups ($750 each). Also in Tampa: good luck to my teammates at the President's Cup--here's to keeping Milo Vega at Yale! Last Week: -$200. Current Balance: $9,860.

Smith--Oh my word, look at Chen go! I saw him at the hockey game and he wasn't looking too happy. Time to catch Lin--which will commence with $1,000 on men's hockey over Union, and $750 for a win over RPI. And I have faith in my brothers in men's lax against Syracuse for $500. I'm also putting $500 on women's tennis over UT-Chattanooga. In the NBA, $900 on Orlando over the Knicks at the Garden and $800 on the Bulls over the Heat. On the ice, it's the 'Hawks over the Bruins at home and away, $500 each. I'll take Bankrupt Sports Editors for $500 please, Alex. Last Week: -$1,450. Current Balance: $9,050.

Guest, Rick Beckwith--This Friday night, the first-place men's ice hockey team travels to Union College to face the last-place Dutchmen. As of late, Yale has come away with only one win in their last four outings in their quest to wrap up first place in the ECAC. Although they are in last place, Union's confidence has been bolstered with two shutout victories this past weekend over Colgate and Cornell. But I'm looking for Taylor's far superior troops to bounce back with a big win ($10,000) at Achilles Arena. Last week: -$1,750. Current Balance: $11,450.

Rick Beckwith is the manager of the Yankee Doodle Coffee Shop.
