Intramurals are rising from the dead. We have closed the gap between JE and Trumbull through the efforts of our baseball, billiards, golf, and soccer teams. In the next two weeks it's gonna get down to the wire.

In baseball, captain Richard Wildman '00 is leading a hardcore group of ball players in Seung Lee '00, Jake Borden '00, and Clay Armistead '01, all former glory boys in Babe Ruth leagues and on their high school baseball squads. Yeah! They are currently 2-2 and looking to stack up a few more wins.

Our golf team did particularly well and is looking forward to the championship round on Thurs., Apr. 23, the first time JE has competed for the title since the Tyng years of 1995 and 1996. Captain William McGrath '00, Sun Park '98, and Mike Garcia '98 did particularly well and will be leading the team in the championships. Jake Borden '00, Matt Bickford '00, David Fine '00, Greg Goodman '00, and Jason Lichter '00 came out and knocked some heads off the birds as well.

Our star billiards player, Josh Blum '00 could not play this past week, and we lost to Calhoun. However, beware when he does play, as he will this week, because he kicks some big ass. Finally, our soccer season is turning around after a 6-0 pounding of first place Saybrook. We finally got some girls out, and we were goooooood. We are looking forward to two more games and two more chances to pick up some points. Trumbull, watch your back because JE is aiming to kick your ass!
