Slay thy enemyBy Sharon Lin Wrestler Brandon Slay '98 was selected unanimously by Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association coaches as the EIWA Wrestler of the Year. Wrestling in the 167-pound weight class, Slay lost to three-time national champion wrestler Joe Williams of Iowa in the final match of the NCAA Championships. Slay won the EIWA Championship and was All-Ivy First-Team for the fourth time this year. He led the Quakers to their third consecutive Ivy League and EIWA championships. Penn's all-time leader in wins, Slay is a hopeful for the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
