Pierson

Faster than a speeding bullet, Aaron "Lightning" Epstein '99 led the Pierson cross country team to an entirely successful meet on Tues., Oct. 20. The team placed third in its championship battle, perhaps saving Pierson from intramural infamy. "Crazy" Dan Koehler '00 returned to his old form with Brett "round the" Bender '99 in strong support. One slow runner really held the team back as he sluggishly crawled across the finish line gasping for mommy. Anita "gimme a" Kishore '99, on the other hand, ran a phenomenal race as she represented Pierson pride.

Men's soccer continues to be the hope of Pierson as Catherine "Schot, Scott, Steve Amdur" Hannan '01 and Andrey "vodka" Kondratyuk '01 scored game winning goals in a 2-1 victory over the inferior Calhoun squad. The team hopes to finish above .500 with a 4-5 record and two games to go. Despite several unfortunate table tennis losses, Santosh "awww" Aravind '99 hangs up his paddle with pride after serving his college faithfully for four years.

The fall season has come to an eventful end, and Pierson's final surge may have made all the difference. As we enter the winter season, Pierson refuses to accept mediocrity, as we lay an early claim to several shirts. Master G. has instituted a basic training regimen including an obstacle course with live ammo training, preparing his troops for a successful winter season.
