Berkeley

The Farmer's Almanac calls for a big snowfall this year. The winter season is coming, and it's a long walk from TD to the gym in waist-high snow (even with your rubbers on). Boyd has to be close to something, and unfortunately for the rest of Yale, that something is Payne Whitney Gymnasium.

As for the fall season, BK cross country displayed the benefits of a daily 30-minute walk to LC. The women's team won the shirts, backed by the efforts of first place Carrie Trowbridge '99 and second place Sylvette Ortiz '99, as well as Ji Park '02, Jenny Sauk '99, and Annie Livingston '99. On the men's side, BK's resident alpha male, Jason Choy '99, won the whole deal--on his 21st birthday, no less--for the fourth consecutive year. That's right.

In addition, the BK table tennis squad closed out its otherwise spotless season with a heartbreaking loss in the finals, despite the valiant effort by Roger "here today, gone tomorrow" Abraham '99. Oh, and IM razzle-dazzle is still a freakin' stupid sport.

(Compiled by the President of Yale Students for Intramural Sega NHL 95.)
