The beat goes on: Princeton field hockey

Princeton just doesn't want to give anyone else a chance. On Sat., Oct. 24, for the fifth consecutive year, the Tigers (12-2, 6-0 Ivy) clinched at least a share of the Ivy title with a 5-1 win over Harvard (7-7, 3-2 Ivy). Tigers coach Beth Bozman admitted that her team's success against the Crimson was a thrill. "You don't want to rule the record book, but it's nice. They were really fired up before the game," she said. Princeton is currently ranked fourth in the STX/NFHCA Division I National Poll. On Sat., Oct. 31, the Tigers will face fifth-ranked North Carolina, a team that knocked them out of the NCAA finals and semifinals, respectively, the past two years.
