Twenty-five years ago, Ivy League women began intercollegiate athletic competition--this week, Dartmouth is throwing a party to celebrate this silver anniversary. As part of its Homecoming festivities, which take place from Sun., Oct. 11 to Sat., Oct. 17, the Big Green will host a brunch featuring a traveling display of photographs that recognize some 200 outstanding athletes and teams from the Ancient Eight. The display includes an illustrated timeline of women's Ivy athletics. The 25th anniversary exhibit will circulate among the Ivies all year.
