Three strikes . . .
Women's volleyball
After losing 3-1 to Yale in the regular season,
Harvard's volleyball team arrived at the Ivy tournament at Brown looking for
punishment. The Bulldogs did not disappoint, knocking off the Crimson twice--on
Fri., Nov. 13, and Sat., Nov. 14--on their way to a third-place finish.
Top-seeded Brown eventually won the tournament--but not before losing its first
set in Ivy play this season in a second-round victory over the tired Elis.
Brown clinched the title by defeating Princeton, which reached the finals by
edging the Bulldogs 3-2 in the losers' bracket semifinals.
