Harvard's field hockey team was still smarting from its regular-season overtime loss to Yale when it came to town last weekend. The Bulldogs piled on the pain, knocking off the Crimson in the first round of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) tournament on Sat., Nov. 14. The Bulldogs proceeded to make sweet dessert of Sunday's final, defeating Villanova 2-0 to win their first ever ECAC tournament. Ivy League Rookie of the Year Amanda Walton, SY '02, scored a goal in each game and was named the tournament's MVP.
