Calhoun

Much to the delight of the rest of Yale, Calhoun has entered a new era--the Post-Morgado Era. The 1998 fall will be marked by increased suckling from the breast of the Mother Houn, which will undoubtedly help bring the Tyng to 189 Elm Street.

Though the Class of '98 took some talent away from Calhoun's teams, a corps of All-Elm Street performers returns. Most of the undefeated co-ed football team returns intact, including captain Alex "I got run over by Chris Elco '98 and lived to tell about it" McClain '00, who has already orchestrated exhibition season wins against European club teams and the St. Louis Rams.

The co-ed tennis team has sent their shirt sizes to the IM Office, as senior captains Jacob "Wu-Tang" Wouden and Sarah "Dan got sick drinking from my punch bowl" Black lead a talented squad of tennis players, including Will "I moved off campus because my brother came to Yale" Goldfarb '00 and Adam "I thought my brother went to Yale" Goldfarb '02.

While talent abounds all over the Calhoun map, the real heart of the college lies in the men's soccer team, which boasts sophomores Chizuruoke Chikwendu, Alexi Papaconstantinou and Stylianos Fragos, whose names are so long that they don't even need idiotic nicknames.

Yes, 1998-99 belongs to Calhoun. After all, we have Tobin Abraham '01.

(Compiled by a Calhoun IM Secretary who, combined with Mark McGwire, has 62 home runs this year.)
