Silliman

Ninth place. It fits Silliman IMs as well as, um, Bill's cigar. Bad fits lead to bad things, but bad things will change.

Notice the lack of numbers in the "forfeit" column? That's right, Yale, Silliman is poised to end Tyng oppression. We will use every able and unable bodied man and woman to topple the powers that be.

It has been two weeks of Sillifirsts--the first forfeitless two weeks, and the first coed football victory in three years! Undaunted by a 19-20 heartbreaker against Calhoun, Danny "Phil" Sims '99 led Silliman to a 7-6 drumming of Morse, with Ernest "DX" Morris '00, Anna "Human Screen" Swanson '02, Lesley "Touchdown" Colgan '02, Eri "Ball Magnet" Sato '02, Blake "Statue of Liberty" Edwards '02, and Alex "Crunch Time" Cardenas '02 bringing the fireworks.

Two weeks ago, Silliman also had two squads in golf's Borsodi Invitational for the first time in three years. Chris "KASY" Lee '00, Mike "O'Meara" Beman '00, Jay "Janzen" Hallen '01, Ryan "Jesper" Joelson '99, Priscilla "Phenom" Morales '00, Abbi "Puttmaster" Phillips '01, Phil "Lehman" Lam '02, and Chauncey "Tiger" Twine '02 turned in strong one-over and four-over par efforts in scramble.

More Silliupdates next week, meaning you still have a chance to make this highlight reel. Play IMs. And end Tyng oppression once and for all.

(Compiled by a secretary who hates forfeits more than swimming naked in a septic tank. Not that he's tried it or anything.)

Back to IMs...
