TC may have lost in football, but our team sure had fun losing. With Sunny "Jorgenson" Gettinger '99 leading our defense and Masahide "My Knees Were Out but It's My Feet That Count" Hoshi '01 scoring a key offensive play, the coed team put up a respectable fight. When interviewed after the game, lead rusher Tom Hooven '01 could only say, "I am the SAC chair!"

After winning the championship in the spring, volleyball will become a powerhouse sport for Trumbull. In a key win against Branford, the team lost the first game, but came back, nearly shutting them out in the second one. Nick Fortunatus "Cookies" '01 had some stellar spikes, and Raf "Stainstick" Lena '99 was our secret weapon server. With other greats like Eric "it's all in the shoes" Rosenthal '99, Kier "Go check the powder that moved on that one" Van Remoortere '99, the self-appointed "Trumbitch," and Dan "I Can Hit the Ball From My Room in Trumbull and It'll Still Find Its Way Over the Net" Vu '99, the team looks for another championship.

All in all the game was some of the best teamwork that I've seen come out of Trumbull in years. That's because the players know the rallying cry: "Moorah '62!"
