Timothy Dwight

So the greatest basketball player of all time says he is going to retire and Dan Sommers '99 immediately pulls out his trash-talking arsenal. Of course, this arsenal had accumulated quite a thick layer of dust after it was quietly put back in its box last year after yet another disappointing Knicks loss in the playoffs. Six Championships. What else is there to say? Talk all you want--the Knicks will lose in the playoffs this year, and Ewing and company will still have ringless fingers.

The TD men's basketball team, however, is a group of higher talent and higher moral standards. Excellent play by Henry "the Beautiful Bomber" Fernaine '99, Dan "Bark and No Bite" Sommers '99, and Gates "Estrella de España" Hurand '00. Our squash teams are undefeated, with a last minute victory over Silliman. Merrill "You left your photos in my room so come get them soon" Dobson '00, Courtney "I love Burmese cops" Noble '00, and freshman phenom Steph "Racket Attack" Manson collected the forfeit win with dignity and pride. The men's squash team, led by Josh "Dr. Evil" Panas '99, Rob "Not So Worthless" Hsu '02, and Andrew "Thank you for all the memories and championships, MJ" Gerber '99 all played like champions.

Have fun this winter, everyone. Check the posted schedules for game times.
