JE IMs are finally turning around after a year of being in the slums with the likes of Davenport. We are currently in sixth place for the winter sports season, with A-hoops, B-hoops, and ice hockey leading the way. A-hoops is 5-0 with the help of Chris "be scared of me" Barnard '99. The team is crammed with Golden Grams of talent and ability. The returning veterans look to avenge their only loss last year to Pierson. B-hoops is off to a promising 3-2 start with Andrew "YCC" Quigg '01 and Carl "Mayim" Bialik '01 at the helm. The team is composed of mostly freshmen and a few sophomores. When they beat you, you can cry knowing that you lost to a bunch of freshmen.

The most miraculous turnaround of the winter season has been the ice hockey team. Coming from a 1-10 finish last year, the team currently has a 4-1 record and is looking to continue the win streak with a core of veterans Pat McGarvey '01, John Flynn '00, as well as newcomer freshmen and sophomores too numerous to name.

With the JE powerhouse bowling team coming up this week, we can't move anywhere but up. Don't be surprised when we climb the ladder this winter.
