Pierson intramurals have continued their legacy of winter dominance! Whether on the court or in the rink, Pierson College is feared by all others this winter.

In basketball news, men's A-hoops continues its undefeated streak with a 5-0 record thus far. All-star athletes Jimmy Bennet '00 and Ben Blake '00 lead the team in scoring with their third roommate, Jeff Hockenbrock '00, coaching the team to excellence. Tommy "Rejection" McNamara '01 acts as the team's defensive giant while "Sugar" Ray Littleton '02 is the top frosh.

Men's B-hoops is coming back after an early loss, achieving a record of 4-1 as it contests for the title. Chris "Be the ball" Rhudy '01 leads the team's offense with his mad ball-handling skills.

In volleyball, Pierson men continue to dominate with a 5-0 record. Steve "Sets" Shafer '01 and Tom "Thunder" Lo '00 serve as the backbone of the team's unstoppable rampage. Women's volleyball struggles through its staffing issues as the talented team hurts opponents and Laura "I hit from the back line" Benjamin '99 shows no mercy. The big story has to be Pierson ice hockey as the team destroys an array of difficult opponents and aims for the league title with a perfect 4-0 record.

With a strong winter season, Pierson again makes a name for itself and instills fear in the hearts of all opponents.
