Trumbull

It is not "Just a game." Let all who happen to throw their pitiful little bodies in the way of the Bull's water polo juggernaught be warned: if you show up, better bring the thunder 'cause they drown the weak. Wear your water-wings and your lifejackets or you'll find yourself with a mouthful of Trumbull's wake. The slight abberation of a suprising overtime loss to TD is no worry for the Bulls. They are confident that the refs are to blame for their defeat. Brusing Betty Ky '00 proclaimed with determined fervor, "Them refs is crazy, they's just insane." El Capitan and Crown Prince of Morocco John III '99 could barely control his throbbing anger and screamed with foaming mouth, "No decapitation, no foul!"

In other news, the co-ed squash team was astonished to find a slight irregularity in their equipment at the first match. Previously untested in match action, the team discovered to its opponent's chagrin that, according to captain Mike Gottlieb '00, "Our balls are soft." This came as a surprise to many, but after a little warmup in which the balls were knocked around vigorously, things firmed up for our heroes, and they came out with a win.

In conclusion, to all the brave Trumbull faithful who battled in the gym this past week: remember that it is nice to play, but much much nicer to win and laugh at your opponents.

(Compiled by Colonial Governor Jonathan Trumbull.)
