Jonathan Edwards

Our B-hoops is the best in all of Yale. I have no problem saying that now in the wake of the team's decisive and hard-fought 40-30 victory against once-undefeated, Andro-popping Saybrook. Our team came out firing from the start behind the Penny Hardaway-esque ball-handling skills of point guard Aaron Lichtig '02. When you add to that the three-point accuracy of Brenden McEneaney '02, the complete and physical game of Albert Quashie '02, the hustle play of Javier Rivera '02, and the 6'7" of rebound and touch known as Andy Graham '02, B-hoops just can't be stopped. We're deep and talented, and we're 6-2. Next stop: Branford.

Although overflowing with talent, our bowling team just can't seem to win. We fell to 1-4 this week, continuing a trend in losing extremely close matches--a trend that started in our first match, losing to BK by a single pin. The team is far from disillusioned, however, behind its consistent captains Dave "I wrote this article, so I'll kiss my own ass" Fine '00 and Marc Rogovin '99. The JE team has three members averaging over 160, with Alex Potter '02 averaging a blazing 180. Let this be a warning to all the teams we have yet to play: yes, we've lost most of our games so far. But now we're pissed and hungry for victory. The A-hoops team is still undefeated, having beaten Saybrook, and the women's hoops team is starting to treat teams like its male counterparts do.
