Davenport

As the winter season closes, Davenport has finally emerged from the cellar of IMs. Was it the glorious leadership? The snazzy new T-shirt design? Who really cares? As the spring season approaches, all of D-port has been energized by this taste of victory.

And what a spring it will be! With returning captains Lincoln Else '99 and Eli Horowitz '99 for Ultimate, Matt Obernauer '00 for baseball, and Simon Rodberg '00 for softball, success is right around the corner.

Every Davenport student has been exceptionally prompt for early morning workouts and sports skills workshops on Saturday afternoons in the courtyard. Participation was especially enhanced after we began featuring different professional athletes each week. The only drawback is the multitude of non-Davenport students flooding the Master's Office with applications to transfer, but I guess that's to be expected.

So don't let all that training or the messages of all those motivational speakers go to waste. Come to the dining hall for signups this week and to pick up your new uniform!
