Pierson

Well, it's supposedly spring here in New Haven, accompanied by the sweet smell of exhaust and the sound of sirens, and a fresh season of rampant Pierson domination has begun.

Coed soccer, led by Danny "Long legs" Koehler '00, Hope "Scores on every"
Tryon '00, Matt "Vote for me" Terry '00, Laura "Shouldn't you be at water polo practice?" Kolar '01, and Keith "Shutout" Weslowski '00 in goal, suffered a close loss to the Sillimanders and their psychotic goalie but came back to tie Calhoun, with solid performances by Andrey "Kournikova" Kondratyuk '01 and Devon "The ground is my friend" Williamson '02.

Billiards, led by captain Ryan "Yes, I'm single, ladies" Smith '00, won its first match in fine style, showing that Piersonites do know what to do with those long sticks. A shorthanded Ultimate team suffered a close loss to Silliman, but several long completions between Mike "Mine ain't so long" Thomas '00 and Parag "Got Wheels?"
Vora '99 show promise for the future.

Meanwhile, field hockey, led by super soph Heather Wey "cool" mouth, dominated Davenport for the first win of the season. So watch out--Pierson this season is gonna be like the bus driver. We're taking everyone to school.
