Timothy Dwight

The weather is getting warmer, but we're still a little chilly in TD. There's something that could raise our collective temperature a little bit, though. Something like...a slew of brand-new, long-sleeved, 100 percent cotton Tyng Champion T-shirts. You heard it right--coed soccer. Baseball. Field hockey. We're predicting shirts across the board.

We'll start with the footballers and we'll talk about the women: Louise "Hurry, I have to change" Baker '99, Leah "Doo"
Dunay '00, Leah "I'm not Jewish" Zim-merman '02, Andrea "Where have you been?" Stewart '02, Sarah "Parkay"
Parcak '01, "Snortney" Courtney Noble '01, Merrill "The Reassuring Touch" Dob-
son '99, Marli "No friends in pornography" Guzzetta '01, and Eleanor "I deck guys" Chung '02. Let's face it, our women are better than your men. And condolences to the Air Bair. Get better soon.

You may already know about the male soccer players; they're famous all over campus. Especially Greg "El Seed" Tigani '99. He's dropped more seed than anyone at Yale University. And can anybody wait for Adrian "Make squaw happy in wigwam" Nivola '00 to score again? He takes his shirt off after goals--a more alluring sight we can't imagine. Following the homoerotic trend, two beautiful men, Wiley "Handcuffs" Kest-
ner '02 and Thom"Ass" Kane '01. Final congrats go to Ro"gaine" Malik '00 for his growth of hair and soccer skill.

Baseball is essentially all about Boom--Joe Walland '00. And he hasn't even pitched yet. I guess we're waiting for a real game. Wait for Tom Leineweber '01, Lee
Jelenic '01, Christian Williams '99, Ben Langworthy '00, Erik Johnson '00, Andrew Tuzzolino '00, and Matt Garrett '02 to join us. Props here to Silliman--you guys have been bringing out some real ballers.

And back to the women of field hockey...fresh from the Alien Workshop, Merrill Dobson '99 returns to lead a team of stickholders to the championships again: Ellen Morrow '01, Mary Pat Mahnen-
smith '00, Louise Baker '99, Sarah Seo '02, Diana Ong '02, Karen Siegel '02 and a good squad of Sillimanders. (What a weird name, Sillimanders--did somebody think, "Hey, I know. Let's name ourselves after a bunch of slimy lizards"?)

And a final word to the softball teams of Silliman and Berkeley: we may be dead, but we'd like to play our games for the upcoming weeks.

Please show up. We'll bring a team--count on it.
