A letter from Donna Jovin

File Photo
FILE PHOTO
On Thurs., Apr. 8, the Herald received the following statement from the family of Suzanne Jovin. It is addressed to the mother of Suzanne's killer.

"I, Donna Jovin, am the mother of Suzanne Jovin, who was brutally and fatally stabbed in the back near the Yale campus on the night of December 4th, 1998. I personally appeal in this open letter to the mother of her killer, assuming that she resides in the greater New Haven area. Only you can imagine the pain and anguish which I have felt since that moment, from having lost my loving daughter and her bright future due to this senseless act of violence. As a moral and rational human being you will not be able to live with yourself if you withhold knowledge or suspicion of your son's complicity. Come forward to the police, talk to them. Demand that your son tell the truth."
