Twice is nice

Brown baseball

Banging out 28 hits and 27 runs in two games, the Brown baseball squad (11-11, 6-2 Ivy) swept a doubleheader from Penn on Sat., Apr. 11, topping the Quakers 8-4 in the first game,
and 19-1 in the second. The Bears finished with 17 hits in game two and improved to .500 for the first time this late in the season since Coach Drabinski took over. Brown is currently tied with Harvard for the best record in the Ivies.

Streak Stoppers

Penn men's lacrosse

Penn's men's lacrosse team ended a three-game losing streak Sun., Apr. 11 when they knocked off Dartmouth 12-3. Attackman Pete Janney '00 led the way with five goals as Penn raised its record to 6-4 overall and 2-3 in Ivy play. The Quakers will next be in action Sat., Apr. 17 at Brown.
