And now, a message from your IM secretaries.

The Indifferent Complainer: so we didn't win the Tyng? Look, I'm sorry...but I had to be in lab. Sheesh, the conditions we had to deal with. I mean, could we have had more rainy days? And the attitudes we had to put up with...God! And for goodness sake, our IM shirt just doesn't look good on me, okay? Whatever. We're just better than everyone else.

The Hyperactive Optimist: so we didn't win the Tyng this year? Don't worry about it, guys!!! Look on the bright side! We got so many people out to play! And we got new softball gloves, yeah!!! And we had such good bonding times and fun! And next year we'll just be more excited to play and determined to win! Stiles is so great!

The Obstinate Fighter: so, we didn't win the Tyng Cup this year yo, but we had the best damn dedicated, skilled, and good-looking IM secretaries around! And next year we're going to kick some serious IM butt. And we may even be able to play some "fair-and-square" games next year (some of you know what I'm talking about), without having to see "red" and having to deal with crybaby protests. Yeah! That's right! We're gonna clean up the fields with our opponents and send 'em home crying. We're going to take IMs next year by storm! And when we're done, WE'RE GOING TO RULE THE WORLD!!!!

But wait. We have a fourth IM secretary (who didn't get to have her say because this is our tribute to her). Helen: for all the balls spiked and shins kicked, for all the labs missed and papers put off, for all the shouting at IM secretary meetings, for all the scrambling around in order to avoid a forfeit, for all the sucking it up and playing every single sport under the sun, for all those moments when we knew we were the best, for every circling up to shout "Moose! Moose! Moose!"... THANK YOU!!!!!! We're gonna miss ya. Someone said it best when they said, "Sure, Stiles may not have won the Tyng Cup this year. But we had Helen Chan '99. And that's better than any stupid trophy."
