Pierson

Hurricane Floyd and the rain that followed made for a nasty week on the IM fields. On Thurs., Sept. 23, tennis, men's soccer, and touch football were all cancelled on account of the rain and had to be rescheduled. On Fri. Sept. 24, Pierson's tennis team fell to JE, but the results are being contested. (How could we lose to JE? They suck, after all.) Women's soccer forfeited on Friday, dropping out of contention for the shirts.

We're making up for lost points with our coed volleyball squad. Led by Daniela "Retardo" Ricciardi '01 and Tom "Spike" Lo '00, the team crushed Silliman and now enjoys a 5-0 record. They're tied with Saybrook for first place going into the playoffs. Yeah, baby, yeah! In overall standings, Pierson is a respectable ninth. Keep the victories coming, let's move on up!
