Question of the week:

Should Asit Gosar face criminal prosecution for his actions in the Ward Seven primary?

E-mail the opinion editors a short response of approximately 150 words to herald@yale.edu along with your name, college and year (anonymous entries are acceptable) by Mon., Oct. 4 and let us know what you think. Selected responses will be printed in next week's issue.

Last week's question:

Do Greek organizations enhance or detract from Yale's social life?

The only Greek I have ever come into contact with at Yale always appears in math and physics equations. I didn't even know that Yale had sororities until a couple of weeks ago. I've never heard the name of a frat mentioned without being accompanied by the words "party" and/or "beer," and since neither of these elements represents a unique aspect of social life at Yale, the Greek system seems pretty irrelevent. Greek organizations don't enhance or detract from Yale's social scene—they just take up space. The first thought that comes into my mind when somebody mentions "Beta" is that the rest of us switched to VHS years ago.

Maybe it's time for frat people to make a switch too—to the regular alphabet.
