Corrections

The article titled "Aging general hopeful for peace in Kashmir," [YH, 9/24/99] incorrectly spelled the last name of the speaker. His name should have been spelled Miakakhakel Jilani.

The article titled "Study abroad gets a boost, but obstacles remain," [YH, 9/24/99] should have clearly stated that students may earn a maximum of four credits for a junior term abroad, and nine credits for a junior year abroad.

The article titled, "New architecture dean brings positive change," [YH, 9/24/99] contained several errors. The quote attributed to Mark Branch, ES '86, from the Yale Alumni Magazine referring to Dean Robert Stern, ARC '65, as a "Disney party boy," should have been attributed to Reed Kroloff, editor of Architecture magazine. Also, the broadcast workers' union picket was not in protest of Stern's involvement with Disney, but of other complex issues.

The article titled, "Veteran soccer squads on pace for Ivy titles," [YH, 9/24/99], should have referred to Hiro Suzuki, BR '00, not Suzuki Hiro.

The Herald apologizes for these errors and any inconveniences they may have caused.
