Morse

There is nothing that Morsels enjoy more than big yellow trucks and beer. Nothing, that is, except earning points towards the Tyng Cup. And that's just what our teams continue to do.

Men's soccer seems invincible this year. They just keep on winning. Their game against Calhoun last Friday got personal, as there were heated exchanges between the teams. The Irish manliness of Dara MacCaba '02 put the Houn to shame, as Morse pulled off the win to cap off another perfect week.

Coed football did just as well last week. They won all three of their games to ensure a winning record for the year, no small feat in recent Morse razzle dazzle history. Perhaps an even more significant accomplishment for the team was having an unprecedented seven women come out to play against Pierson. The group included regulars Sara Perkins '01, Sam Warshauer '02, Eileen Gibson '00, and Kaitlyn Gumpper '03, and newcomers Bailey Hand '00, Joanna Dolgin '03 , and Kat Banakis '03. Wow. And for the presence of Kendall Enyard '01 in the coed game against Calhoun—wow again. He must keep playing.

Cross country ran a strong meet Mon., Oct. 11, and should be in good shape for the championships thanks to the likes of Pete Lokken '00. Ping-pong keeps winning. The shining trio of Yves Dharamraj '02, Jasper Kuria '01, and Shivan Mehta '01 keep our team strong, just as beer does. So when you see us gathered around our big yellow truck, shudder in fear. The Lipper is in the house.
